Sold me a broken dash cam and will not take a return or exchange. Theyve referred me to the manufacture and washed their hands of the problem. The manufacture cannot refund because they didnt sell it.... stay away from Northern Tool

Northern Tool And Equipment - Worst ever customer service

I bought a new motor for my riding mower and it was received damaged. Northern Tool would not take care of the problem.

I am currently going through my credit card to dispute the charges. Never again will I patronize them. I have gone back and forth for a week through email correspondence. I offered to have them simply discount the amount of the damaged part and I would replace it myself and they would not agree.

I have since contacted my states Attorney Generals office and will be contacting the Better Business Bureau to try to get a resolution.

Aparently I need to write more words in order to get this review published. Seems kind of odd.

Presurewasher warranty a joke

bought new pressure washer 2/2017 great machine first 4 times i used it... went to use it may 2018 and it would not develop pressure....

sent to clean rite (warranty affiliate), for diagnosis only to find pump seals gone and pressure relief valve defective. unit has a 2 year warranty that covers (conditionally) nothing... then in order to get parts was another joke...

the sad part is that it was obvious that the defective unloader valve caused the pump to fail...

so what is covered.. the wheels...???

overall level of customer care is total lacking, certainly a misrepresentation of their implied intent to be there when there is a problem

One star, not for the welder I ordered, but for customer service. After waiting over two weeks for an item that is on the shelf in the store, the order was still processing for delivery. So, I cancelled my order. I find it ridicules that it takes over two weeks and the item is still being processed for delivery to the store for pickup. Not on a truck for delivery but being processed for shipping. It's in the store, on the shelf and I still have to wait over two weeks because inventories don't overlap. On the brighter side, Everlast delivers in about a week. I've talked with coworkers who have had the same issues with delays in shipping. Someone in upper management really needs to address this.

Good Afternoon I visited the location in Pompano Beach FL on 07/30/2018 around 3:30 and did not have a good experience. Not 1 employee offered assistance. Went to the front counter looking for assistance and they just directed me to object with offering assistance. One employee started to help and stated he will be right back with more assistance, he decided to not return and went to the next aisle when he saw us still waiting for his help. One employee stated I could just go online. I drove 20 mins to not receive any help. Will never return to that location. Very upset with the service. I had to go to home depot.

Lies, Lies and More Lies

I ordered a chicken coop in July to be delivered to one of their stores (they immediately charged my pay pal account). Deliver was suppose to be between 30 July and 8 August (meanwhile they credited my pay pal account - this is the first inkling I got that something was VERY WRONG WITH this company). The first of August after not hearing from anyone, I I emailed them to cancel the order as it was no longer needed. I get an Email back - We aren't able to cancel the order (excuse me you can't cancel your own companies orders). Then today I complained again and I get this " Hello Chere, Thank you for contacting us. Our records indicate that you have contacted our customer service phone staff and this issue has been addressed. I apologize for any inconvenience you have been caused. Regards, Althea Customer Care Northern Tool + Equipment 1-80*-222-**** www.northerntool.com" That is a bald face lie! I never called them and they never EVER called me. They have now again charged my Paypal account. This is a lying, thieving, False advertising company DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

They never have the product needed for there customers. I've been waiting for over a month on 3 eye to eye leaf springs and haven't received them yet. When I ask about them at the Hickory, NC store I'm always told we have some at our hub but they never send any to the store. Why I ask them and always get a BS answer. I'm aggravated because I've done paid for the springs and not received them yet. I've looked elsewhere but I haven't found any with the correct poundage for this trailer there going on.

Poor customer service

I had I a problem with a defective pump purchased from them. I took it in for repair and repair wasn't done properly - even after they kept it for close to a month. So it had to be returned for a second repair. This time they kept it for over two weeks. Ended up the repair was identical to the first repair with one additional part needed to be replaced. It appears that had this additional part been replaced the first time, this second repair would not have been necessary. It's impossible to get a manager to call you back and even though I was promised a call back from a manager - i never received one. . This company does not stand behind its product and has extremely poor customer service.

I ordered a drain hose and spent more specifically because they had shown pictures of a black one. When the item came it was bright red and when I called customer support I was on hold for an 20 minuets and then after explaining everything transferred and put on hold again for another 20 min to have some idiot Bailey answer and then put me on mute and not respond to me as I said hello for about a minute.

The call ended with me having nothing sorted out and me being stuck not being able to talk to anyone from the company. I’m not happy with their customer service at all!

Northern Tool And Equipment - Very Poor Service

We placed an order it was supposed to be 7-10 days ground shipping delivery after 18 days we called they said it was shipped & received by XYZ person, that person was me the office manager; this was not true I investigated the shipment turns out it was shipped to the wrong company wrong address in AZ we are in FL! We requested a reshipment they have No overnight or rush service available so now we must wait another 7-10 days.

If customer service was better the moment they realized the shipment was sent to the wrong address they should have resent us the part and contacted us to let us know of the mistake the customer service made.

If we would not have contacted them we would never have gotten our order redone. Very Poor Management & Very Poor Customer Service.

Terrible Customer Service

Northern Tool has terrible customer service

I tried to order something 5 weeks in advance and I asked for a specific delivery date. I was told I had to call back one week prior to when I wanted the items.

I ordered the items one week prior and they said my credit card went through but after 5 days sent me an email saying they messed up my credit card number and I needed to call them back. I missed the date I needed the items. Ntool Sucks!

Oh I'm sorry you need more words, Northern Tool Sucks and has terrible customer service and yes, when I find out that they blew my order or they could say was "to bad", and they started a new order.

and one more thing, if it's urgent you don't send out a blasted email (which ended up in my junk folder). I never got a call or anything from them.

I ordered a gift card for my husband on 6/14/for Fathers Day was told I would receive in 24 hours.Never came ,did a chat online with them and they could see my order but he could not tell me when it was to be delivered.He said more then likely it would be in 1 business day.Well that would have been the 15th but no .It better be coming on the 16th or arrive by Fathers Day or I will never ever order another online gift card from them again.

Your first order is going to be garbage. and if you get talked into their free shipping plan for a year.....your paying for *** customer service. Also their credit part of the business likes to take additional credit card numbers and not process them.....so watch your statements after you buy something here. I'm hoping that in a few months I don't suddenly get a charge for something in Texas or wherever they are located. There are plenty of other tool places out there....and the few bucks you save here.....not worth the headache. If i could do it all over again....i would have just gone somewhere else.

K mart like service

Stood in line to check out for15 mins. waiting for both cashiers to take orders and warranty issues while the manager watched. Now I’m waiting on a phone call (again) to find my 400$ order that no one can seem to find. I like the store but hate the lack of service. Reminds me of K mart or Sears.

Owned a pressure washer for 2 yrs and only able to use it 4 times.

I purchased a pressure washer in 2016 with an extended warrany that took over after their 2 yr warranty was up. As of 2018 its has been in their shop 3 times.

I was told that the "seal" that held the oil in the pump was a ware item and went out of warranty at 90 days, read the fine print in your manual. Well the seal went out the pump froze up and Norther tools won't honor the 2 yr warranty. I was told by the manager that if i bring the pump back in 30 days it will be back under warranty.

So I drove 45 minutes to pick up the pump and will return in 30 days. It's incredible the mentality this company exibits!!

Why make customers jump thru hoops to take care of a problem?

Drywall lift

I went to buy a drywall lift that was on sale and they were out of stock. They said they could order one and it would take 10 business days. I called every day to see if it was in. I was told it would be in for sure on Monday 3/26. Way more that 10 business days. Guess what - they didn't have it on Monday either. They offered no discount for my inconvenience and could not tell me a date they would have it. What kind of business is this? I ended up cancelling my order, refunding my money and buying one at Menards. I will never shop there again. Terrible way to do business!!!
