Faulty products and no service
Worst ever customer service
I bought a new motor for my riding mower and it was received damaged. Northern Tool would not take care of the problem.
I am currently going through my credit card to dispute the charges. Never again will I patronize them. I have gone back and forth for a week through email correspondence. I offered to have them simply discount the amount of the damaged part and I would replace it myself and they would not agree.
I have since contacted my states Attorney Generals office and will be contacting the Better Business Bureau to try to get a resolution.
Aparently I need to write more words in order to get this review published. Seems kind of odd.

bought new pressure washer 2/2017 great machine first 4 times i used it... went to use it may 2018 and it would not develop pressure....
sent to clean rite (warranty affiliate), for diagnosis only to find pump seals gone and pressure relief valve defective. unit has a 2 year warranty that covers (conditionally) nothing... then in order to get parts was another joke...
the sad part is that it was obvious that the defective unloader valve caused the pump to fail...
so what is covered.. the wheels...???
overall level of customer care is total lacking, certainly a misrepresentation of their implied intent to be there when there is a problem

I ordered a drain hose and spent more specifically because they had shown pictures of a black one. When the item came it was bright red and when I called customer support I was on hold for an 20 minuets and then after explaining everything transferred and put on hold again for another 20 min to have some idiot Bailey answer and then put me on mute and not respond to me as I said hello for about a minute.
The call ended with me having nothing sorted out and me being stuck not being able to talk to anyone from the company. I’m not happy with their customer service at all!
Very Poor Service
We placed an order it was supposed to be 7-10 days ground shipping delivery after 18 days we called they said it was shipped & received by XYZ person, that person was me the office manager; this was not true I investigated the shipment turns out it was shipped to the wrong company wrong address in AZ we are in FL! We requested a reshipment they have No overnight or rush service available so now we must wait another 7-10 days.
If customer service was better the moment they realized the shipment was sent to the wrong address they should have resent us the part and contacted us to let us know of the mistake the customer service made.
If we would not have contacted them we would never have gotten our order redone. Very Poor Management & Very Poor Customer Service.

Northern Tool has terrible customer service
I tried to order something 5 weeks in advance and I asked for a specific delivery date. I was told I had to call back one week prior to when I wanted the items.
I ordered the items one week prior and they said my credit card went through but after 5 days sent me an email saying they messed up my credit card number and I needed to call them back. I missed the date I needed the items. Ntool Sucks!
Oh I'm sorry you need more words, Northern Tool Sucks and has terrible customer service and yes, when I find out that they blew my order or they could say was "to bad", and they started a new order.
and one more thing, if it's urgent you don't send out a blasted email (which ended up in my junk folder). I never got a call or anything from them.
Every dollar you save here....is a hour you spend with their customer service.

Verified Reviewer | Houston, TexasOwned a pressure washer for 2 yrs and only able to use it 4 times.
I purchased a pressure washer in 2016 with an extended warrany that took over after their 2 yr warranty was up. As of 2018 its has been in their shop 3 times.
I was told that the "seal" that held the oil in the pump was a ware item and went out of warranty at 90 days, read the fine print in your manual. Well the seal went out the pump froze up and Norther tools won't honor the 2 yr warranty. I was told by the manager that if i bring the pump back in 30 days it will be back under warranty.
So I drove 45 minutes to pick up the pump and will return in 30 days. It's incredible the mentality this company exibits!!

I ordered a gift card for my husband on 6/14/for Fathers Day was told I would receive in 24 hours.Never came ,did a chat online with them and they could see my order but he could not tell me when it was to be delivered.He said more then likely it would be in 1 business day.Well that would have been the 15th but no .It better be coming on the 16th or arrive by Fathers Day or I will never ever order another online gift card from them again.
