Recently bought a 29 gallon portable gas walker online (it was not available in the store and was sent from manufacturer-not able to see it). Upon delivery we found it to be too large to get into our vehicle.

After calling Northern Tool customer service we were NOT ALLOWED to return it to a store in exchange for a smaller one. We had to pay shipping charges 3 times! Original purchase-return of product-exchange purchase. Northern Tool Customer service would NOT BUDGE!

no effort at all to help the customer. They said "it was OUR ERROR--so why should they have to pay for it".

I am an avid online shopper...this is unacceptable especially when an exchange is involved. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Why should Northern Tool pay the shipping charges for your mistake? It's the buyers responsibility to do their research before ordering an item. I'm sure the dimensions were available!
