Northern Tool And Equipment - Order Status 10/28/16
I ordered a propane tank on 10/16/16 but never received an order status update as promised.The initial order promised an update and delivery status with a tracking number. None was received as of 10/28.
I checked my account and found that it was shipped 10/26. It was shipped from the factory. I finally had to call customer service to find out the status. After waiting 10 minutes the first time, I hung up and called the following day.
It took two calls to reach a cutomer service rep.
The indicated it was scheduled for delivery on 1/31. Because it was needed by 11/3 and I was not sure of the delivery, I was considering a purchase from another local company.Northern needs to do a better job communicating on order status so the customer doesn't have to call.
Reason of review: Order processing issue.
Monetary Loss: $132.
Preferred solution: Price reduction.
